Mr. Hylton Davidson
An experienced Finance Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services and real estate industries. Associate Member of the Southern African Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators with strong financial, risk and corporate governance experience. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology (B.Th.) and ministry experience since 1998, Hylton has a passion for education and the future generation. A Covenant College family member since 2006 with an active involvement on the SGB since February 2014. Portfolio’s include Finance, Facilities and Cultural activities.

Pastor Lance Retief
Lance holds a BA Social Sciences degree, a BA Hons. In Human Resource Development and a Master’s Degree in Leadership from the University of Johannesburg (UJ). Lance’s expertise lies in Human Resources Development, Performance Management, Leadership Development and Organisational Development and Design and worked in various industries with a career spanning over 20 years. He holds the Human Resources portfolio at Covenant College and has been a member of the SGB since 2013. Lance also pastors a church in the South of Johannesburg and is committed to growing the Kingdom of God and proclaiming the Good News.

Mr. Sean Jouxson
Sean holds a National Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management. He has worked in sales and account management in various industries and is currently working for an international intra-logistics company. He joined the Covenant College family in 2015 and joined the SGB in the marketing portfolio in 2017 to help grow awareness of the school.

Mrs. Lynn Smith
Lynn holds a BSc degree in Sport Science and Honours and Master’s Degrees in Biokinetics. She is currently completing a Doctoral Degree in Biokinetics at the University of Johannesburg, where she has been lecturing full time since 2012, after working in the private hospital setting for a few years. She is an advocate for physical activity participation in the youth and strongly believes that such positive lifestyle habits should be enforced from a young age and continue throughout life. Catering to the needs of Covenant College learners and their development is a unique calling that has driven her to give back to the school by joining the SGB Sport Portfolio, where she has been actively involved since 2018. “Each individual is set apart by their distinct talents and gifts, but it is only once we use them to glorify God that we will experience a full life.”

Mr Brian Du Preez
Brian du Preez joined Covenant College as the Principal in January 2015. He has been appointed as Acting Executive Principal in September 2019 and is passionate about teaching, learning and people development. He has served as a member of the Board since 2015. Brian has more than 30 years’ experience in Education as well as in learning and development in a corporate environment.

Brian holds a Higher Diploma in Education with majors in English, Mathematics and Gifted Child Education, and the Further Diploma in Education. He also holds a BTech: Human Resources Development degree with a strong focus on Curriculum Design and Human Performance Improvement methodology and the Advanced Certificate in Education.

He recently completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Education Management & Leadership.

Pastor Wendy Saunders
Wendy holds a National Diploma in Human Resources Management and a Certificate in Christian Counselling. Wendy is a certified Organizational Counsellor with the Counsel for Counsellors in South Africa. Wendy’s expertise lies in Counselling and Pastoral Care of children and teens, she has served as a Youth pastor and Children’s Church teacher for over 20 years. Wendy joined the Covenant College family in 2012 and she holds the Pastoral Care portfolio at Covenant College and has been a member of the SGB since 2016. Wendy is still actively involved in her church where she heads up the Kids Church with her husband, and is committed to seeing young lives impacted by the gospel and growing the Kingdom of God and proclaiming the Good News.
